Obituary of Jean L. Minneman
Jean Minneman, 81, died on July 10, 2024. She was born on February 1, 1943 in Brownstown, Indiana to the late Benjamin and Adella Steinkamp. Jean was a longtime member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Avon, Indiana. She retired as a bookkeeper for the Indiana Electric Cooperative for REMCs. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Greg (Maria) Minneman, and Mark (Paula) Minneman; one daughter, Amy (Derek) Eaton; 7 grandchildren, Alex Minneman, Mackenzie Minneman, Samantha (Nate) Pickel, Nicole Minneman, Jacob Minneman, Rhylee Eaton, and Brody Eaton; and three great-grandchildren, Brooks Minneman, Harper Hubbard, and Lane Pickel. She was preceded in death by both parents; and brothers Lynn, Dennis, and Stanley Steinkamp.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm on Tuesday, July 16th at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm immediately preceding the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church (Avon, Indiana).
