Obituary of Thomas E Williams

Thomas E. Williams, of Avon, IN, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, he was 75 years of age. Thomas was born in Indianapolis to Forrest and Lillian Elizabeth Williams. He was a native to Indiana and where he enjoyed his entire life.   

Thomas was a sports “fanatic” enjoying the hometown teams, the Colts and the Pacers or anything and everything with a ball. He was a Colts season ticket holder for most of his adult life up until 2010, but watched every game. To just say that Thomas was an avid sports fan would not define the enjoyment he received from watching sports, but his greatest enjoyment was when watching his granddaughter Madison play college softball on television. Thomas was also a “Shark” enjoying the game of Poker. 

His career was with Jugs Catering until working with his wife, Wanda, at Williams Cylinders and Controls for the last 6 years before his medical retirement in 2009.     

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; sister Kay Gilbert; brothers Ron Williams, Danny Williams and William Williams.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years Wanda Williams; children Cynthia Whitaker and Bob (Linda) Thomas; grandchildren Madison, Bailey, Brock, Allison, Emily and Bobby; brothers Mark (Beverly) Williams and Bob Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
