Obituary of Danny Joe Lockard

Danny Joe Lockard, 71, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on April 28, 2024. He was born in Indianapolis to Clarence and Bertha (Carter) Lockard in January of 1953.

Danny was a truck driver for over 25 years having worked for EMAS, OKI, Ohio Valley and Ryder. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family on Lake Monroe camping and fishing. He also enjoyed working on cars.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents; son Robert Lockard; wife, Faith; stepdaughter Karen McGowen; brothers Mike and Paul Lockard; sister Sandy Cripe.

Danny is survived by his sons Brian (Angela) Lockard and Brad (Shelda) Lockard; stepdaughter Christine (Terry) Miller; sisters Patti (Charlie) Lambert and Anita (John) Shelley; brother Rusty (Sherry) Lockard; grandchildren Rachel Lockard, Kylie Lockard, Nathan Lockard, Patrick Brinegar, Donald (T’Ashley) McGowen, Brandon McGowen, Christopher (Marie) Brinegar, Ricky (Kirsten) McGowen, Samuel (Felecia) Miller and Ashley (Joe) Williams; brother-in-law Ted Cripe, sister-in-law Dana Lockard and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
