Condolences
I met Max in college at Ball State. He was one of my favorite people all of my sophomore year, and our group of people hungout atleast once a weekend the entire year. I loved Max, he was always such a sweet soul and so fun to hangout with and talk to. He was a good one. Crying hearing about this, because the best go too soon. Prayers for the whole family. I am so sorry.
I send condolences too the family me Max and his Father Tim work at Zionsville community Schools together Max was a kind person always smiling and was excited about getting married.
Went to Franklin Middle School with Max, was truly a good soul to me & was always kind to me, I'll never forget that. Our hearts are with him, I wish I would have kept in touch better when we went to different high schools - I'm sorry Max. Your legacy is full of love.
I first met Max when we started school together at Fairfax Villa Elementary, and by the end of that first year we had become pretty inseparable. As we grew up, the countless laser tag matches and “lightsaber” fights with sticks in the yard were replaced by jumping onto World of Warcraft (he very generously carried me through plenty of dungeons that I had no business being in over the years) and checking in whenever we found the time.
No matter whether it had been days or years, we were always able to pick up right where we left off, and that was entirely because of Max. He was earnest and thoughtful in a way that brightened the lives of everyone around him; supportive, hilarious, and unabashedly himself.
My most heartfelt condolences to Max’s family. He was adored by so many people and will be missed just as deeply.
No words can express the sorrow we feel for family and our granddaughter Alex,,,, Max was the nicest person and sweet oh yes he was fun and so very grateful for everything even the laced bacon shoelaces I gave him for Christmas,,,,,,, he will be missed so much may he rest in peace till we all meet again .......Love Noni and Nono
To Lexi, Max's family and friends, our heart breaks for you all.
We only had the pleasure to meet Max one time, Max and Lexi were the adopters of who is now known as Eevee, when we could no longer keep her. Lexi texted us (and still does) all of the time with pictures of Eevee and her Daddy - who "isn't a dog person" as we would joke. The bond that Eevee and Max developed, and the love that we saw grow was only a small sampling of Max's capacity to love. Opening his heart and home to her, is only a glimpse of what a generous heart this man had, I am certain. I am glad we got to witness that, even if just a little bit and at a distance.
We feel we have had the occasion to somehow connect to a pure, loving spirit. They truly are rare and beautiful.
Thank you to Lexi and Max's family for sharing him with us.
Max, thank you for loving Eevee the way you did.

Eileen, Tim, and Sam,and Lexi, I was so heartbroken and devastated to hear of Max's passing. I will always treasure the memories of caring for Max when he was a baby. He was so delightful and so smart. Max was quite a blessing. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to all of your family.
Love and condolences, Karen Whitaker
I met Max in 2014 at Ball State, almost 10 years ago. We were roommates for 2 years in college and our friendship only grew stronger in the years after.
Max was an absolute joy to be around. Not only was he hilarious and fun, but he made you feel like a million bucks. If I was ever feeling down and needed cheered up, Max was the guy I went to. He was also extremely intelligent, thoughtful and talented. Still to this day I will jam out to his music in the car sometimes.
As soon as you met Max, it was impossible not to love him. Countless Ball State people have reached out to me over the past few days (some of whom I haven’t seen in years) all expressing their love for Max, which just goes to show how many lives he touched.
My deepest condolences to Max’s family. You are in my prayers. He was deeply loved by me and so many others.

I am the raid lead of Max/Chip's last raid team, "Spicy Tendeez", and I am confident speaking on behalf of the raid team that Chip not only touched the hearts of those around him in-person, but also of those who have played with him online over all his gaming years. Both Cake and Chip joined the team mid-2021 and helped us achieve the team's first Cutting Edge achievement; a tremendous accomplishment for our signature "4 hours, 1 night a week" team. Both Cake and Chip's shenanigans have led to hilarious nights and it's these memories that I still hold dear. Even after their departure last year to focus on the upcoming and more important things in life, we still talk about these two as if they'd never left. I offer you all my condolences.
Thank you for everything Max.
Love,
Boomer
I am in tears as I write this and remember Max. My heart is breaking for you.
