Obituary of Harry Stergar
Harry A. Stergar, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away October 8, 2009. He was born August 30, 1924 in Indianapolis. Harry was a Veteran of WWII and worked many years as a self-employed television repairman. He loved playing and watching golf, the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Fever, and his dog, Myah. He also loved nature and spending time outdoors. Above all, he loved and adored his wife, Catherine, his children and his grandchildren.
Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Catherine M. Stergar; children, Cheryl Ann Cromlich, Harry J. Stergar, Jr., Mary C. Stergar; belated sons, Michael J. and Louis J. Stergar; 5 grandchildren, Juli, Jennifer, Amanda, Savannah, Tori; 3 great grandchildren, Gavin, Cole and Carter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tues, Oct. 13 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, located at 16th & Lynhurst, at 10:00 am. Visitation will be Mon, Oct. 12 at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls, from 4-8 pm. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
