Xenia (Rogozea) Craciun, 95, of Indianapolis, IN was born in 1922, January 17 in Dragus - Fagaras, Romania to Alexandru and Maria Rogozea. Xenia was one of their 12 children. Xenia attened elementary school in Dragus, then studied Gymnastics in Miercurea Civic and finished Liceul Pedagogic in Sibiv. Xenia had a hard life during the war and communist regime, but with God's help and the support of her family she succeeded. In 1944, she married Lucian Craciun and they had two children while residing in Fagaras, daughter Sidonia and son, Mircea. In 1984, Xenia was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian. After his death, Xenia moved to Indianapolis, IN to live with her daughter, Sidonia in harmony and love. She always remembered and missed her entire family and friends from Romania for whom she visited many times with joy. Exenia was a loving and exemplary mother, grandmother and wife. Xenia dedicated her life to her children and granddaughters, Roxanna and Letitia, whom she loved with all her heart. Xenia was kind, loving and generous for all who knew her, always ready to extend a helping hand to everyone. She was highly respected and honored by family and friends. She was born and lived her life as an Orthodox Christian. After the loss of her husband, Xenia prayed every day for his memory to be eternal and for the repose of his soul. With her generous heart, she would pray to God for the health and happiness for all she knew and loved. Xenia is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Sidonia Craciun; son, Mircea (Melania) Craciun; granddaughters, Roxanna and Letitia; sister, Elenora and her family Carmen, Iris, Angi, Julian and Violet; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Xenia loved her entire family deeply and wishes them all love and a happiness through their entire lives. Xenia asks for forgiveness, is she was ever wrong and to remember her in their prayers.
