Obituary
Obituary of Ronald Lee Hart-Hults
Ronald Lee Hart-Hults, 69 of Indianapolis, left this natural world on Thursday, October 19th, 2017. Our kind-hearted husband, father, and friend Ron, passed on with his wife Carolyn, son Reid and daughter Kirsten by his side. He will be greatly missed, also by his parents-in-law Malcom & Joyce Hults, families of Richard and Stewart Hults and a great many dear friends.
Ron was born in Detroit Michigan to the late Edith and Headley Hart on October 2nd, 1948. Ron graduated from Indiana University. He worked as a librarian for many years at the IUPUI Library. For over 25 years he provided services for people with developmental disabilities with New Hope of Indiana.
Ron played drums and helped manage a big band that performed at Robin Run Village Retirement Community. At home he relaxed by playing guitar. With his encyclopedia of knowledge and his sense of curiosity, Ron enjoyed learning about and discussing a wide range of topics, especially current-events. Ron is remembered as a great cat lover.
A memorial service will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church, 5252 W 52nd St, Indianapolis, IN 46254, on Sunday, October 29th 2017 at 2:30pm. Invitations are extended for lunch beforehand at 1:00pm at Bethel. Ron would prefer memorial contributions to be made to Bethel Church, FACE Animal Clinic, WFYI, or UNICEF rather than flowers.
