Leonor Velasquez, 78, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on January 13, 2018. Leonora was born on March 17, 1939 in San Pedro, El Salvador to Tobias Cabezas and Beatriz Quezada, both preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Claudia Mendez Leonor was a strong and independent woman who believed in God the minute she allowed the Lord to enter her heart. She loved to watch TV and go shopping all the time. She loved each one of her grandchildren and she was very happy with the birth of her great grandchildren, Emerson Alessandro Ortiz. Eva Isabella Dennis and Oscar Alexander Ortiz. She was loved by many and always willing to help when there was need. Throughout this cancer journey she learned a lot. She could have wanted it all or maybe had it all, but nothing was greater than Gods love and strength throughout it all. Leonor is survived by her husband, Teddy Velasquez; daughter, Ana Valencia; sons, Milton Velasquez and Alberto Velasquez; grandchildren, Lizbeth Ortiz, Gabriela Ortiz, Alejandra Victoria, Jennifer Aguilar, Christian A. Velasquez, Jose Luis Mendez, Alejandro Velasquez and Gabriel Velasquez.
