Obituary of James Rosner
James L. Rosner, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away June 23,2009. He was born September 22,1928. James worked as a metallurgist for GM Allison for 35 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. Michael Church and a charter member of the Divine Mercy Chapel. James was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sheila Rosner. He is survived by his wife, Judith E. Rosner; children, Mary Ann (Mike) Flanary-Schenk, James (Patricia) Rosner, Michael (Patricia) Rosner, Robert Rosner, Jeanne (Gary) Saferight, Judith (Ernie) Krebs, John (Carol) Rosner, Jennie (Jon) Gerard and Sandra Smith; sisters, Joanne Dowling, Rose Marie Aust, Ruth Morby and Roberta Baker; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 1:30 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26 at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W 10th St, from 4:00 - 7:30 pm, with a 7:30 rosary. Entombment will be at Washington Park North.
