Obituary
Obituary of Catrina Denise Williams
Love moves mountains Love touches hearts and heals a tortured soul
Love mends a broken heart
and forever moves on... Love never fades and
never ends
Love is the one thing to last Always
Trini
Catrina "Trini" Williams was born to Rufus and Geraldine Thomas on August 13, 1967 and sadly left this life on January 22, 2023. She is survived by her oldest child, Shequalle Nelson and her son Kyle Williams.
The third child of six, she was a talented poet, painter and writer that touched the lives of everyone that she knew. Her love of music, dancing and history are as a part of her as she is a part of those who loved her. She was more than just my mother, she was a strong hearted woman that was too stubborn to give up, too kind to ever turn her back on anyone.
No matter the hardship, my mom kept moving forward and would often tell me that "you are who you choose to be" in this life, that you can be more than you ever imagined. My mom, despite all of her struggles, chose to be happy. For those that loved her, remember her as kind, stubborn and funny. Honor her by living and finding your own happiness, as that is what she would have wanted for us all.
Mom, you are and will continue to be the light of my life.
