Obituary of Virgil Carroll Jr.
Virgil Harry Carroll Jr., 82, of Indianapolis, IN passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital on April 28, 2023. Virgil was born in Lumberton, West Virginia on December 15, 1940, to Virgil Harry Sr., and Martha Carroll. Virgil's recent employment was with McGovern Steel Fabricators for over 10 years and Areabox and Pallet for 6 plus years. He enjoyed crafts, cooking, hunting, and fishing. Virgil loved his family and loved spending quality time with each and everyone. Virgil was "Jack of All Trades, Master of None" and was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
Virgil is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil H. Sr, and Martha Carroll; daughters Norma Nelson and Brenda Dowell.
Virgil is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Helen Carroll; his son Michael (Debra Earle) Suggs; daughters Lisa Sims, Margaret Carroll, and Ruth Bush; son-in-law Dean Dowell; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three brothers; five sisters and many nieces and nephews.
In Virgil's honor and loving memory memorial contributions may be made to Restoring hope Community Church.
