Obituary of Sue Ann Harper
Sue Ann Harper, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 24, 2023 in the comfort of her own home.
Sue was born in Indianapolis, IN to Mary Harper and Ralph Harper on February 5, 1946. She was the first born of 8. She graduated high school from Crispus Attucks and worked numerous years as a QNA nurse before retiring. On February 15, 1968, she gave birth to her one and only child Robin Denise Tibbs. She was active in the Haughville community, helping her best friend and sister, Donna Jean Harper. She also loved to attend church and was a member of First Baptist Church Bridgeport where she was a senior usher. She always seemed quiet, but anyone who knew her, knew she had wit and a big sense of humor; never failing to make everyone laugh. Sue was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed dearly.
Sue is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Harper, father, Ralph Harper, daughter, Robin Tibbs-Mahamadou, siblings, Donna Harper, Ralph "Steve" Harper Jr,
Paul "Rick" Harper, and Michael Harper.
Sue is survived by siblings, Gregory "Punkin" Harper, Victoria "Vicky" Harper, Theresa "Terry" Zachary, grandchildren, Kimberly Tibbs, and Krystal "Sue's Favorite" Tibbs, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
