Obituary
Obituary of Tyrone Reynolds Jr.
Tyrone Reynolds, Jr., thirty-four years old, went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Tyrone was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Tyrone received his education from the Indianapolis Public School system, and successfully completed his GED in 2006. Tyrone worked various jobs from General Labor, Mover, to Warehouse.
To know Tyrone is to love him, as he had an infectious smile and a heart of gold. It is impossible to not have a smile on your face or be laughing to the point of being in tears when in a room with Tyrone. Tyrone engaged with any and everyone he came in contact with, and would always say is everything good with you, or how are you doing.
He was an excellent listener and no matter the audience could speak on any subject as he was a walking encyclopedia. If there was anything anyone needed, Tyrone would be there for you to help in any way he could. Even if it meant giving his last to help.
Tyrone would end any visit or conversation with I love you.
The person on the receiving end knew Tyrone was being sincere and genuine when he said it.
Tyrone was a family person, although he had no children of his own. He cared for and treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his children. His motto was family over everything. Tyrone loved sports (basketball and football), video games, listening to music, family gatherings, and had a thirst for knowledge. To say Tyrone is smart is an understatement. He was a borderline genius and excelled in all subjects with Math and Science being his favorite. Tyrone's favorite book to read was the dictionary. He was even teaching himself a foreign language. Tyrone completed a Basic Welding Program with the goal of becoming an Underwater Welder as he loved to swim.
Tyrone is preceded in death by his father, Tyrone Reynolds, Sr., sister, Debora "Nicey" Phillips, maternal grandfather, Robert Hutcherson Sr., and paternal grandmother, Anita Reynolds.
Tyrone's survivors include his mother, Shelia Hutcherson, maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Hutcherson, paternal grandfather, Morris Reynolds (Debbie), nephew, Darius Phillips, and a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
