Obituary of Arnold Dane Cline
Arnold Dane Cline passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, at home with his loving family by his side. Arnold was born in Elk Creek, Kentucky on September 17, 1933. He was 90 years of age.
Arnold was a veteran having served proudly and bravely in the United States Army from December 1953 until December of 1955. A member of the American Legion and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He worked for and retired from BMW Constructors, Inc after 31 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Arnold was a great listener and friend. Arnold was a generous, charitable and humble man. He would help anyone at any time, no questions asked. Arnold didn’t always ask for help as he was a prideful man, and he wasn’t looking for someone to do anything for free. So, he just did it himself until he couldn’t anymore. His hobbies included collecting all kinds of things different, listening to country music while tinkering and gardening. Arnold was considered a plantsman, a hobbyist gardener. He loved to work in his garden and shared his knowledge of horticulture with others. Toward the later days of Arnold’s life, family and friends helped with the tasks of preparing and maintaining the garden for this upcoming spring. Everyone is looking forward to the first bloom, when Arnold will live on through his garden of plants, perennials, and trees. Arnold was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Herman D. Stella V. (Vaughn) Cline, siblings, wife Sandra Cline and daughter Michelle Cline.
Arnold is survived by children Arnold Dane Cline, Jr., Bill Cline, and Brenda Keeling, stepchildren Donald Steward and Debra Ramey.
