Obituary of Ruth Ann Boston
Ruth Ann was a woman of many characters, wife, mother, sister, Mamaw, daughter and friend. She was a loyal and devoted woman to all of us.
Her passion was Family, who she loved fiercely. She devoted herself to becoming Senior Regent to the Women of the Moose. Ruth Ann worked diligently for the women of chapter 11. She gave herself wholeheartedly to helping the children of moose heart, sponsoring three girls, and helping them in their reunification outside of their moose heart graduation.
She liked her days spent with the UAW, camping trips and being on the bowling leagues.
She retired from Diamond Chain Company. She also worked for many years at Nuclear Measurements, Kolics and Zelmas.
She loved playing Bingo and Euchre, but mostly she loved playing with her great grandchildren. Ruth Ann made a peaceful exit by simply going to sleep. She will be sadly missed and always loved. May her memory and voice continue to be a part of our lives forever.
Ruth Ann is preceded in death by parents Naomi (Babe) and Ancil W. (Hack) Dodds; brothers Bill (Dorothy) Dodds and Donnie (Susie) Dodds; nephews Willliam W. Dodds and Michael Lee Dodds; and mother and father-in-law Della and Ray Boston.
Ruth Ann is survived by her husband, Raymond W. Boston; daughter, Ronda Lee Ann Parrott (Aaron Ruschmeier); granddaughters, Haley (Tim) Smith, Mackenzie (Timmy) Parrott, Jayla Puzzello and Erin Puzzello; and great-grandchildren Avery, Tinzley, Paisly, Haze and Karma; brother, James (Linda) Dodds; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Kevin), Dana (J.D.), Rick, Jimmy (Heather) and Carmen (Andy); and sponsored daughters, Ricki Cathy and Peggy; along with many extended family members and friends.
