Obituary of Debra Gwen Pendleton
Debra G. Pendleton, 69, of Speedway, IN passed away on November 10, 2023. Debra was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 27, 1954, to Floyd R. and Dorthea (Wood) Clodfelter and was raised in Greencastle, IN. Both of her parents precede her in death. Debra is also preceded in death by her brother Greg Clodfelter; and Joel Pendleton, her husband of 18 years, to whom she shared 30 loving wonderful years together. Debra was a Certified Nursing Assistant in her late teens and early twenties. She then worked for Jenn-Air for over 19 years. In 2013, she started working for Lowe’s Home Improvement and in 2020 she was employed with the Speedway School System where she was currently employed. She was a member and attended the Seventh and Eighth United Christian Church, affiliated with Job’s Daughter International, Girls Scouts and as a sales representative with Avon Cosmetics. Debra’s interests included thrift and bargain shopping, “She Loved a Deal”. She enjoyed camping, animals and board games. Most of all Debra loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all. Debra is survived by her daughters Nicola (Bruce Cooper) Baggett-Cooper and Laura Pendelton; and one grandson, Austin Baggett.
