Valerie. Sorry to read of your mother’s passing. Although I never met her, I know she raised a wonderful daughter. Your old Northwest English teacher and spelunker sponsor. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Don Thompson.
Mark, Val & Marisa.. I’m so sorry for your loss, Lorraine was always fun to be around and made us all laugh. I remember those Sunday dinners and some of the hilarious conversations that went on..Not to mention my favorite “Shit Cookies” I hope you find comfort that she is with Short Grandmas and Lou.. you are in my prayers..

Valerie, Mark and Marisa, so very sorry to learn of your loss. This may seem strange to remember your mother’s cakes. The cooked flour frosting was fabulous. To this day, that is my go to frosting for a cake. She was a special lady.
Valerie, Mark & Marisa
Distance made our visits far and few between. However the visits we enjoyed were memorable and full of vibrancy provided by your mom. Her infectious laugh still resonates as if yesterday. I find solace watching the tribute as the family clearly has provided her comfort. I pray the next few days go as well as expected and you eventually can smile with the memories. You are in our prayers. Dan & Liz Nemeth
