Obituary of Brent "Fabulous" Lane

Brent Lane peacefully passed away after a long illness on February 6, 2023. He was born on February 20, 1970 in Indianapolis, IN to David and Rebecca Lane. He was the youngest of five. He graduated from Northwest High School in 1989 and was employed by Sysco Foods as a driver and at Miller Pipeline as a pipe liner and as a CDL instructor.

Brent was in love with life and was determined to stay around as long as possible despite the pain and suffering caused by his illness. He was infinitely curious about everything life had to offer. Brent especially liked Indy Cars, especially the Indy 500, the Dallas Cowboys and his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was “also” loved and supported by a great number of friends.  

However, he was most proud of his children, Carmen, Karl and Kay, and his little grandchild, Roselia. Brent is survived by his children, grandchild and his siblings, Dean, Laura, Ann and Tim. Brent was preceded in death by his parents, David and Rebecca.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10^th Street Indianapolis, IN 46224 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral services will immediately follow at 6:00 PM.
