Condolences
Heartfelt condolences to the Watson and Beck families. She will be missed. Hugs to all. Susan Luichinger
I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to attend the wake or Mass for Susie, but all of you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I prayed for Susie and her family during the petitions at Mass in Cathedral's Chapel yesterday. I always enjoyed chatting with Susie and admired her hard work and devotion to Cathedral and its theater program. Her children, my former students, are a tribute to Susie's love and care for her family.
Sister Mary Ann Stewart, SP
Susie was a tireless inspiration to everyone at Cathedral.
She generously shared the amazing costumes she created for countless dramatic productions. She truly "mothered" many students who will never forget her.
Condolences for the whole Watson family. You all are such special people. Thinking of you during your time of loss.
Amazing hard working lady. . . All those costumes! So sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss, Jack and family.
So very sorry to the family for your loss-she will be sorely missed. I remember her and I think Regina Malad being our kickball coaches in 6th, 7th and 8th grades, I think!! She taught me how to pitch a mean curve ball. RIPIH Suzie Beck Watson....
With Heartfelt Sympathy,
Kathy Cancilla
My condolences to all of the Watson family.
Susie and Jaynie Bybie were mentors to my late wife Jackie in her role as Home School Association President and the first Walk-a-thon at St. Michael School.
Dear Watsons,
We are so sorry to hear of this tragedy. Susie was talented and kind. I loved getting a Snapchat video call from her on our birthday group. She started the call, but never realized it! We all have quilts , blankets, scarves, monogrammed sweaters and plant holders she has made for us. I loved the Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls she made for our auction. She was one in a million. Love and prayers from our family
So sorry to hear of your Mom passing. She always had a smile on her face and so willing to help. We worked together at the front desk when she would fill in for Sister Delores to have her lunch. She also made my daughter Erin veil when she was getting married, prayers for all of you.
What a beautiful tribute to Susie. She cared so much about people and yes, she was always willing to help anyone. She truly lived as Jesus intends all of us to live. Last year, on this very weekend, December 18, we hosted a lovely dinner for the Watson siblings. We are so glad we did. It was an evening of great food and memories of the Watson family. Susie leaves a big hole, but one I am sure her children will fill because she left them her legacy of service to all. We pray for Jack and her children and grandchildren that they always feel her close to them. Her care of you on earth is now extended in her eternal home. May her soul rest in peace. ~Judy and Jim
My favorite memory is when John proposed to Anji in St. Louis at Thanksgiving and we were all there. I still had no clue what was going on when John got on his knee!! It was the beginning of our families being united. Rest in peace as you are so fondly remembered by family and friends.
Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Susan?
A: Susie made the flower girl dresses for my wedding. We were having trouble finding what I wanted. So in the middle of Joann Fabrics we paused to pray to ask for help, ask for guidance from my mom. We immediately found what we were looking for. She was so spiritual it was amazing to me. Love, Becky
