Condolences
Mike was my friend and I will never forget him and the fun and good times we had playing softball. I will miss him. Jon Sheffer
Dear All, As I recall my own life, my fondest memories deal with my old neighborhood. My own family was large, but the families in the neighborhood and St. Anthony parish extended it. I believe my brother, Jerry, was in Rita's class. The Schenk Family was one of my customers when I delivered the Times paper. There was always a comfortable closeness in those times. The large crowd last evening was evidence of the respect and love for Mike and the whole Schenk Family. I hope that the shared stories and happy memories will console you until you meet again. I'm sorry I couldn't stay in line longer to pay personal respects. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. JacquePetree Carroll
I'll always remember his smiles, laughing eyes and loving heart. Sharing your memories and your sorrow.
Sharon, I am so sorry to hear of your Father's death. I can only imagine how difficult this is for you and your brothers and sisters. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ann Foster
Sharon, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. My sincere sympathy, Jessica
Michael You coached us well those few years we played softball with the old guy at Avon Ball Park. We're right behind you. You show us the way. Later, Ted.

On behalf of my family, we would like to convey my deepest condolences for your entire family during this difficult time. I have worked with Heather Roush for a number of years and I was very sorry to hear the news of Mr. Schenk's passing. We will say a prayer on all your behalf.
Mike was my oldest and dearest friend! We were constant companions growing up! Mike taught me a lot about becoming a man. Mike left a large footprint, he helped so many people! There is no place I can go in this city where I won't remember Mike! In Loving Memory Joe
I grew up across the alley from Mike. We were friends during the school years. I always thought the world of him. I am so sorry he has passed. Rest in God's peace, old friend. May we meet once again on the other side of the river.
Sympathy and prayers to the schenk family.
