Condolences
I am so sorry about the loss of your father/brother Dan or better known to some of us as "Danny" as I remember him being called during my younger childhood years. Our family the Mitchells, (parents, Herman and Bonita, sisters Sandy, Nancy and Cecilia, all grew up with the Niedlinger family on College Ave in Indianapolis during the early fifties. We lived at 3355 N. College Ave in a double. Eva and Jim Burton and their daughters lived in the double next door to us and sharing the other half of their double on the other side of them were the Niedlingers. I can remember sitting on the Neidlinger's front porch as their mother Helen sang and practiced with the other barbershop quartet members. One of the members, known as Judy McFee, nickname "Tommy", is still a good friend of our family. I can also remember myself and a couple of the Burton girls sprawled out on the living room floor with Danny in front of their television set and watched American Bandstand. Those were wonderful memories! Both of our parents are also now gone. Just remember that faith and our memories are what sustain us through our most difficult time. With our love and our deepest sympathy, Pamela (Mitchell) Drinkard Sandra (Mitchell) Camper Nancy (Mitchell) Lawrence Cecilia (Mitchell) Evans
Dear Todd, I had the pleasure of working with both your father and mother back in the 70s at Blue Cross. Dan trained me when I started and we developed a friendship that included lunches and sometimes just walks around town togeather to let off steam! He was a fine, honest gentleman. And I do recall the absolute, pure joy he knew at the time of your birth. My sympathies are with you.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of your father. Your support for him during both the good and tough times was second to none. My thoughts are with you. BK
This has really been a difficult year for you. Your parents were wonderful people. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about your Mom. She was my friend. I miss her and love her. Now they are both together eternally in heaven. I remember their anniversary is this month, and just think they will be with each other. May God guide you through this difficult time. Take care.
Todd, Your father has taken the journey all must take. We take comfort and we know your Dad is now reunited with your Mom. His soul is set free. Peace to you. Your strength is way above many. What a spectacular son. May memories and knowing others are close by wrap around you.
Sincere condolences on your loss. I know Dan for about eight years (1983 - 1991) when I was the Business Manager for the radiologists at Methodist Hospital and he was involved in the billing for the doctor' services. Dan and I spent many many hours together, and even traveled to a few conferences together. He was a good teacher (since I had just retired from the Army and knew absolutely nothing about medical management, this was critical!), patient, highly competent and articulate, and had a wonderful sense of humor. But, most of all, he was a good and reliable friend. I share your grief at his loss. He was a wonderful man. Ed Davidson Lieutenant Colonel, US Army, Retired
