Obituary of Donald Dauenhauer
Donald Armand Dauenhauer 75, passed away April 1, 2011 at Brownsburg Meadows where he reigned as "King." He was born September 4, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Charles and Loretta Dauenhauer. Don married Shirley Ann King in Indianapolis August 25, 1956. She preceded him in death on January 19, 2010. Also preceding him in death, son, Mark Joseph Dauenhauer on August 9, 2009. Don was employed for 40 years in welding equipment and gases industry in supervision, quality control, sales management and purchasing for Linde Division of UCC, Mineweld Company and BOC Gases. Don was a Licensed Master Electrician. Survivors include children, Michael Dauenhauer, Lisa Leach, Linda (Tom) Hancock, Teresa (Joe Berry) Dauenhauer and Mary (Carol Brown) Dauenhauer; six grandchildren, Amanda (Ed) Batty, Maria Frame, Michael and Jeffrey Leach, Rebecca Hancock, and Victoria (A.J.) Stepp; and two great grandchildren, Aidan and Kenna Batty. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 4 p.m to 7:30 p.m. with a 7:30 prayer service at Stevens Mortuary and Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 1 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3354 W. 30th St., Indpls. www.stevensmortuary.net
