Obituary of Michael J Rayman
Michael Joseph Rayman, 68, of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. He was born in Indianapolis to the late Joseph Rayman and Patricia (Brown) Peck on November 13, 1951. Michael graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1970, then he earned an Associate’s Degree from IUPUI. Mike worked as a Customer Service Representative for 25 years retiring in 2016. He loved nature and spent all of his free time outdoors boating, fishing, hunting, gardening and canning and his beloved cabin in Owen County. He had a love for music and the arts, he continually listened to every genre from Blue Grass, Rock and Roll to Ethnic music from every region. Mike never met a stranger. He loved his family, Serbian Orthodox Faith, bargains and outdoor concerts. Mike could not keep a schedule and marched to his own beat, hoping all would come along. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Mike was preceded by his parents; his sister, Cheryl Allee; and his son, Zachary B. Rayman. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Rebecca L. (Ruddell) Rayman; his son, David (Branka) Rayman-Rajkovic; his daughter, Sarah Rayman Swander; his grandchildren, Isabella Swander, Isaac Swander, Ana Rayman-Rajkovic and Sofia Rayman-Rajkovic; his brother, Nicholas Rayman; and his sister, Patricia (Bruce) Miller.
