Obituary
Obituary of Bonnie J Wittman
Bonnie Wittman, 63, of Jensen Beach, FL unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020. She was born in Indianapolis on October 20, 1956 to Forest and Ida Jeffras. Bonnie lost her husband, Fred Wittman III in an automobile accident and raised their son as a single parent after his death. She was a real estate agent with FC Tucker and Century 21 before returning to school to earn a nursing degree. She spent that last 20 years working in mental health nursing until she retired in 2018. In retirement she fulfilled her life-long dream of living on the beach in Florida with her dog Rascal. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, walking on the beach, and spending time just hanging out with family and friends. She especially loved spending time and traveling with her grandchildren Fred & Grace with whom she shared a special bond. She never knew a stranger. She will be remembered for her kind and loving personality she loved helping others and wanted nothing in return. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; sisters, Francis Jines and Sue McCurry; and a brother, George Jeffras. She is survived by her son, Fred (Sarah) Wittman IV; grandchildren, Grace and Fred Wittman V; a brother, Charles Jeffras; her niece who was more like a sister to her, Lesa (Mark) Brouillard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 1-4pm at Charbonos in Avon. This is an open house style event so people are free to stay as long as they like and are free to come and go. There will be food and drinks provided.
