Obituary of Sandra Jayne Kirchner Brodhacker

SANDRA JAYNE KIRCHNER BRODHACKER Sandra “Sandy” Jayne Kirchner Brodhacker met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, got to hug her beloved son Dax, and hold for the first time her unborn baby as well as renew relationships with many precious family and friends on January 2, 2020. Sandy was born June 24, 1954 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana to Hugh Kenneth Kirchner and Betty Jayne (Kabrich) Kirchner. She was the sister of Sharon Kay (Kirchner) Sipe. Sandy was married to Daymon L. Brodhacker May 22, 1976. This union continued until her death. Blessings born to them were Dax Leo Brodhacker and Shanea Jayne Brodhacker Tarsitano. Sandy earned her Early Childhood Education degree from Indiana State University in 1976. She used her degree throughout her adult life in private and public settings. Illness forced her early retirement as a Pre School Teacher from the MSD of Decatur Township. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, son Dax, and unnamed baby Brodhacker. She is survived by her husband Daymon, daughter Shanea and her husband Davide Tarsitano, sisters Lola, Sharon Kay Kirchner Sipe (Steve), brothers in law David Brodhacker (Kathy), Joe (AJ) Brodhacker (Becky), Clyde Brodhacker (Marcia) and sister in law Sharon Brodhacker Branham (Joey) and the nieces and nephews these unions produced.. Services for Sandy will be conducted at the Stephens Mortuary, W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will be Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 3 to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. There will be visitation for one hour prior to the service. Prior to her journey to everlasting life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her most precious loved ones, Sandy expressed to her family that those of you who may wish to honor her in a tangible fashion during this time or in the future, may do so by contributing to Dax's Dream Fund, online: https://cfmconline.org/donors/funds/daxs-dream-fund-1077/ or by mail: Community Foundation of Morgan County: Dax's Dream Fund, 11 W.
