Obituary of Gora D. Gentry
Gora D. Gentry, 82, of Indianapolis passed away on November 9, 2019. She was born on June 6, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky to Andy Davis and Mary Miller. Gora is preceded in death by her late husband, Edwin Gentry to whom she was married for 45 years. She was also preceded in death by parents; son, Mark Gentry; brother Ralph Amis, grandson, Joshua Gentry, and granddaughter Brittany Gaskins. Gora was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that loved spending time with her family. Gora retired from General Motors where she was a machinist. She was an amazing woman with a wonderful sense of humor. She cared and had a deep love for her family, friends and everyone she met. She had a kind and thoughtful way about her. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all. Gora is survived by her daughters; Sherrie (Wayne) Small and Lisa (Mike) Ledford; sister, Mary (George) Daniel; grandchildren, Tiffany Kinser, Timothy (Holly) Gaskins II, Ashlee (Randy) Gentry, Brandon Gentry, Brent (Alyssa) Ledford, Brandon Ledford; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Scott, Hayden Beasley, Jaylee Gentry, Henry Gaskins, and Amelia Ledford .
