Obituary of Deborah Kay Savage
Deborah Kay Savage, 63, went home to be with our Lord at her home after battling brain cancer in the early morning of July 20, 2019 while surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 6, 1956 to Betty A. and Robert L. Sowers, who preceded her in death along with her brother, Robert J. Sowers and sister, Barbara E. Boone.
Debbie attended Speedway Schools and was a member of Westview Christian Church. She worked as a baker and cake decorator for Kroger, K-Mart and Marsh in Indianapolis. She moved to Hardy, Arkansas, where she baked for Price Chopper. She also babysat a lot. She had a big heart especially for children. She moved back to Indianapolis and then to Linden to be close to her grandchildren, where she remained until her passing.
She is survived by her sister, Patti Jo IKemire (Rex); daughter, Lacey L. Wilson; son, Eric M. Wilson (Raychel); grandchildren, Vaughan, Gabe, Rosemary, Heavenly, Hadley, Aliyah and Elijah; nieces, Regina, Dawn and Allecia; seven nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and nephews.
