Obituary of Jason Nortell
Jason Sullivan Nortell, 55, of Indianapolis passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019. He was born in Oak Park, IL on July 6, 1964 to the late Judd L. and Patricia Elizabeth Nortell.
Jason was in service to the Federal Government for 35 years. He served in the US Marines and the US Army. He worked as a mail handler for USPS. Jason never passed up on an opportunity to help a fallen soldier or veteran, so willing to give to others in their time of need. He was always passionate about his service to his country, God and his family.
He was kind, caring, loving and very funny. He was a great husband, father, brother and best friend. Jason was the kind of guy that listened to what you had to say and gave great advice in return. He touched so many lives. Jason gave so much of himself and would hardly ask for anything in return. His love knew no bounds. He was a father who loved his children and a man that loved his wife with all of his heart.
Jason is survived by his wife of 20 years, Justine Nortell; son, Jason Sheldon Nortell; daughter, Krystal Nicole Nortell; and brothers, Judd L. Nortell and John T. Nortell. He was admired by many and will be missed dearly.
