Obituary of Evelyn Bencik
Evelyn Marie Wilde Bencik 90, of Indianapolis passed away on June 18, 2011. She was born on September 12, 1920 in Indianapolis, IN. Evelyn was a member of the Red Hat Club and St. Barnabas Church. She enjoyed playing cards and loved all her grandkids. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John E. Bencik Sr. She is survived by her sons, John E. (Jerri) Bencik Jr. and Edward J. (Shirley) Bencik IV; daughters, Beverly (Joe) Herring, Pamela (Penrod) Benson and Patrica (Jeff) Stulz; sister, Elsie Champlin; sisters-in-law; Edna Wilde and Velma Wilde; brother, Roy Wilde; 24 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22 from 10am-1pm with a funeral service at 1pm at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W. 10 St, Indpls. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indpls 46278. www.stevensmortuary.net
