Obituary of Crena Asifiwe
Crena Asifiwe, 19, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on September 2, 2018 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Crena was born on July 10, 1999 to Jospeh “Asimwe” Gatambria and Borauzima Seraphine in Uvira Democratic Republic of the Congo. Crena just graduated high school this past May and was going to start college this January to major in nursing. She was a talented performer with the Hoza Dance Troupe at the Peace Center for
Forgiveness and Reconciliation (PCFR). She traveled around the Midwest performing at weddings and cultural gatherings.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to PCFR’s GoFundMe titled “Funeral for Sacha.” All extra money left over after funeral expenses will be used for Sacha’s daughter, Kaylee. Crena is survived by her parents; daughter \, Kaylee Bitandaro; sisters, Josiane “Joy” Asimwe, Divine “Melizza” Tumusifu, Sophia “Keza” Nzele; and brother, Jean “Shema” Byamungu.
Funeral Services are 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Eagle Creek Grace Bible Church, 7001 W. 46th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46254 USA with visitation from 9:00 Am until time of service. Interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46208.
