Obituary of Mary M Hamilton

Mary Margaret Hamilton, 84, of Speedway, IN passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2018. Mary was born in Lanesville, IN on February 2, 1933 to Joseph J. and Ida Louise (Weisenberger) Bauer. She was, in one word, a success at her chosen vocation of loving wife and devoted mother. Unlike most professions, she never retired until called away by God. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 65 years, Richard B. Hamilton; sons, Mark Hamilton of Monrovia, IN,  Mike Hamilton of Phoenix, AZ and Matt Hamilton of Speedway, IN; daughters Sherry Toms of Golden, CO, Susan Leonard of Franklin, IN and Shelly Ochs of Urbana, OH; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10th Street Indianapolis, from 4:00 PM until 7:30 PM with a Rosary at 7:30 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at St. Christopher Catholic Church 5301 W. 16th Street Indianapolis. A private interment will follow in Kraft Grace Memorial Park in New Albany, IN. In lieu of flowers contributions to I.U.
