Robert John Lackner, Sr

Robert John Lackner, Sr, 89, passed away January 25, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Chicago Illinois on May 25, 1928.  He enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17 where he served for 6 years.  July 5, 1952 he married the love of his life Carolyn Louise Bigler in Goshen Indiana.  She precedes him in death.

He retired in 1993 from Hilltop Press, Inc.   He enjoyed visiting with family and trips to the Casino.

Bob is survived by his children, daughter Pam (Barry) Brummit of Enid Oklahoma; five sons Rob (Cindy); Joe (Roy); Larry (Dana); Andy (Monica); and Matt (Natalie).  Ten grandchildren:  Jason, Jeff (Sarah), Sarah (Josh) Mason; Jeremy, John, Brooke, Andrea (Mike), Jessica (Eddy), Mallory and Aaron; and 4 great grandchildren:  Morgan, MacKenzie, Malee, Magnus.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In honor of Bob’s wishes, there will be no service. The family will have a life celebration on his 90th birthday.
