Obituary of William T. Costello
William (Bill) Costello passed away on December 15, 2017, in Indianapolis. Bill is a veteran of the U.S. Army and has been a longtime parishioner of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Speedway, Indiana. He retired from the Indianapolis Fire Department after 28 years of service and spent his second career in the residential heating and air conditioning business. Bill was loved by many. He was a guy you liked immediately upon introduction, as he never met a stranger and possessed a great sense of humor. His expressions and quick wit will be sorely missed. Bill is survived by the love of his life, Ernestine Costello, and his four daughters; Denise Costello (Cathi Scalise), Lisa Dawes (Ken), Michele Boeck, and Andrea Dugan (Greg). Bill is also survived by eight grandchildren; Alexandra Gray (Spencer), Madison Dawes, Avery Dawes, Isabelle Boeck, Peyton Boeck, William (Will) Dugan, Sadie Dugan, Savannah Dugan, and one great grandchild, Isla Gray. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gleaners Food Bank 3737 Waldemere Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46241.
