I have so many memories growing up in the 70s with the Zore family. My father worked for them and they always treated us like family. I learned to swim in the pool they had behind the house and learned the meaning of hard work even as a child. On more than one occasion Mr. Zore paddled my behind for doing some thing I should not have been doing. We all lost contact for several years and a few years ago when my father passed I called to inform the Zore family that he had died. That is when I found out Jim had passed. I am truly sorry about his passing and want to express my deepest condolences to his family. May god bless. Perry Day
Doesn't seem it was too many years ago I was your night shift dispatcher while Stan drove the tow truck. I remember your girls calling late at night to talk and whispering so you wouldn't know they still up.
I remember one night when you and John sent me to White Castle to buy a bag of burgers and fries. We sat in the office munching away when one of the dogs came wandering in. John stuck a burger in front of the dog's nose, he sniffed it, then tucked his tail, laid his ears flat and backed away.
We about died laughing knowing we had eaten everything in the bag but a junkyard dog had enough sense to avoid the gut bombs.
Hope you and John are catching up on old times.
Praying for your family. I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless.
Jim was an icon in the Towing business, I have known him for over 40 years. He will be missed god speed on your next journey. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
Jim will be greatly missed by family and friends. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family.
So sorry to hear this sad news. So glad to have had a nice visit with Jimmy, several weeks ago and gone to lunch with him. Jimmy was always a good friend, and helped me a lot during my career. Bill Bronner ISP
Condolences to the family and friends of James L. Zore on learning of his stepping away from this life.
With this news, we say as it was written and meant for such times as this: Farewell, Jim!... Words that must be, and have a sound which makes us linger... Yet, fare thee well!
To the family we offer the following thought: Don’t cry because it’s over... Smile because it happened!

Thank you for 25 years of making an impact on my life from the day we met. You were as honest an as real of a person as I've ever known. I thank you for always treating me as a son and being there when you were needed. You have raised a terrific family that will continue the legacy you have built and will continue to make you proud. Although I know you will be pissed because so many people will be missing work to pay their respect to you I think it will be amazing to see all that loved you. RIH big Jim Zore, you're one of a kind!
