Condolences
My deepest condolences to your family. When I lost my father it was difficult. I know it can be hard sometimes. I would like to share with you what help me. I read Psalms 34:18 says " Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." "He cares for you" 1 Peter 5:6,7. So we can have confidence in prayer for help and peace. And the promise of "the resurrection" (Acts 24:15). May you have and find peace, and hold dear your loving memories of Anthony Tatman.
Greatest man I ever met as well as the best husband and father that there will ever be. I think of dad almost every moment, and will cherish him in my heart for always!
Dad, my prayer is that I will be at least half the man you were and are.
See you in heaven one day!
Until then, I will always be talking about you to others. Most men just hear about people like you. I was blessed to be born into your family!
Robbie
My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see him again because we know that God can not lie. Usually at some point in time after the funeral we may find ourselves all alone to deal with our grief. But please be assured that you are not alone. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) May all the many wonderful memories that Anthony your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
I remember Mr. Tatman well at school # 9. He along with Miss Mahoney and the staff made our childhood wonderful. He was I believe my 4 or 5th grade teacher and I was speaking of him as I have a grandson who just went from 4 to 5th grade. He was a terrific teacher and I am sure he had an impact on many of us.
So happy he had a wonderful long and productive life.
God bless you and your family at this difficult time.

Roz and I are thinking of all of you as you say goodbye. We are glad we had a chance to meet Gregg. No family can be as strong as yours without a strong leader at the center.
