Obituary of Betty Jane Faris

Betty Jane (Sipe) Faris, 88, of Speedway, IN passed away on May 27, 2017. She was born in Indianapolis on August 16, 1928 to Frank Earl and Anna Elisa (Elsbury) Sipe, both preceding her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Dale Faris. Betty worked for Suzy’s Hallmark as a customer assistant and Faris Mailing where she was a department head. She was a member of Westview Christian Church and enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bowling. Betty collected tea cups and thimbles. She is survived by her loving and devoted family; daughters, Beverly Ayers and Barbara (Richard) Tuttle; grandchildren, Steve Ayers, Fred Ayers, Wes Ayers, Andrew Tutttle, Amanda Harbridge and Becky Christman; great-grandchildren, Brooke Ayers, Kirsten Ayers, Austin Ayers, Ryan Ayers, Paxton Ayers, Joseph Tuttle, George Tuttle, Drew Tuttle, Sam Tuttle, Jack Harbridge, Hannah Harbridge, Lia Christman, Jonathon Christman and Magnolia Christman.
