Condolences
My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see her again. We can be sure of the resurrection because we know that God does not lie. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) May all the many wonderful memories that Evelyn your loved one provided comfort you during this time of great sorrow.
So sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. Keep your memories close to your hearts.
We just heard of your mom's passing and want to send our deepest sympathy and prayers to you all.May God Bless you all for the hard times you've gone through. Katie
Sue was a lovely person who gave of herself in many ways. She volunteered at Zeta Theta Chapter of Tri Kappa's Breakfast with Santa in Beech Grove. Alice introduced Sue to me and the other Tri Kappa sisters, and we immediately became her friends, working together for many years. I will miss Sue's sweet smile and generous heart.
Sue was such a great lady and we are both so sorry for your loss. When Richard had his drugstore in Speedway, my father and Betty's husband, John Berck, would call on him, as my dad worked for Lederle Laboratories, a division of American Cyanamid, as a pharmaceutical salesman. Later on in life, after Sue's Bait Shop closed at Eagle Creek, Sue again came into our lives as an RV Salesperson at my parent's business, Fun Vehicles Camping and Travel, Inc on W. Washington Street. She then went on to selling mini barns. Sue was always a hard worker and good provider for her family. She again came into my life as the sister of Larry States, who's wife, Alice, is one of my Tri Kappa Sorority sisters. Sue would volunteer and assist with the Beech Grove Zeta Theta Tri Kappa Sorority's annual Breakfast with Santa each year. She would man the back door to let people in to set up and then she would assist Alice and Larry with running the Kid Games, such as Bingo or putting together puzzles. She also helped with the Kid's Boutique where children could purchase presents for their parents for Christmas. Sue was courageous as a cancer survivor and she loved to go to Vegas! She will be greatly missed. Diana Berck
