Sorry to hear about Elvie he was to young. Elvie went to our school and was a wonderful student. My brother played baseball and was in class. I have a lot of memories of him and his family. It's the old neighorhood he grew up in. He will be missed by many.

So Sorry to the Grogan Family. My brother Rob Baire was one of his closest friends. Since we are a lot older than them they were always at our house looking for food when they were in the neighborhood. Elvie was a very nice and considerate person It is hard to believe he is gone so soon. He will always be missed by our entire family. Mr and Mrs Grogan you raised a fine young man. May God give you strength thru this time.

I am thankful for the little time I knew Elvie Jr. I am so glad he attended our family cookout last fall. I am sorry I won't be able to have more time to get to know him better. Rest with Jesus, we will all be together again someday.

As soon as I heard my heart filled with sadness. Sadness for my childhood friend and his family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Nothing prepares us for something Iike this. Elvie Jr. Was a great man, a great caring involved father, and friend. I remember when I was 14 and would fall asleep talking to Elvie on the phone. And the through the year's we always stayed in contact. You will be very missed my friend. My deepest condolences are for his beautiful children and his family, you all are in my prayers. May God be with you and give you the strength you need.

I am in shock to say the least because just a few weeks ago Elvie and I were inboxing each other on Facebook and laughing about getting old. We became good friends at School 47 and remained friends throughout high school. I will miss talking to you Elvie but I know you are in a better place. I am praying for your family and kids...RIP my friend.
