Obituary of Robert Dugar

Robert "Bob" A. Dugar, Sr., 78, passed away January 24, 2010. He was born August 5, 1931. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter for many years and helped build the "Upside Down House" in Indianapolis. Bob retired from the former Link-Belt (Chain Div.). He was a member of the American Legion Speedway Post 500, KSKJ, St. Monica Catholic Church and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Bob loved bowling and bowled in the Sanction League without a handicap, bowling three, 299 games. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jackie Linder Dugar; sons, Bobby (Suzzi) Dugar, Jr. and Kevin Dugar; daughter, Cynthia Fawcett; sisters, Dolores Poteet and Gloria Leffler; grandchildren, Jessica Cohen, Mallari, Jordan and Connor Loy; great grandchildren, Ava, Aiden and Tyler Cohen, Maya and Macy Loy; many nieces and nephews; and a family friend, Joe Fox. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 28 at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls, from 4-7:30 pm, with a 7:30 pm rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Jan. 29 at St. Monica Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
